As if its not sweet enough being able to buy FULL sets of characters I've been chasing for ages all in one fell swoop, and at a great price, but the guy included freebies like UoV & even some gorewad monsters too!
I initially wanted to buy them anyways, but Eric included them at no cost.
Thank you bro for the amazing figures, & for being a great person and helping out fellow collectors such as myself.

I just wanted to put up a shout, for Bigburty. I asked for some help in getting an auction from the UK that wouldn't ship to the states, and Al jumped right on it, and helped me land a figure that has been missing from my collection for years (at a bargain, no less). I want to say a big "Thanks!" to Burty, for jumping in and helping out when he could have just ignored my post altogether.
Thanks, brother!
Anytime bud, helping each other out is what this board is all about - in my opinion anyways

For continued efforts to right the ship I say Jimmy.... for just being a straight up, stand up guy all around.
I have a list....... but keep not getting the time to put them together here.
Another great guy that's not here as much cuza life is 89cpe. He is a great guy and I would say, never hesitate to deal with, or hit the shoutbox with a couple of beers.
And to the rest of you......... this board has a spell check, so other than intentionally messing around, you have no excuse anymore. There's a red line.

I would like to make a post for Rubberhammer I had a raw trade go sour and he was kind enough to hook me up with some awesome figures to soften the blow and man did he hook me up with some goodies..He is a true class act and came thru when I was in a bad spot. Thanks again brother awesome guy!

Rubber hammer for sure gets a vote from me. He merely asked me if I was the guy here who liked transformers, I said yes, then he suspiciously stopped responding. Fast forward a week and my package arrives with the things I bought, and 3 expensive as all hell transformers in pretty good shape. He is also currently trading me for another outrageously good deal on my behalf.
In the past, he sent my daughter over 20 gormitis for free. An all around stand up dude who definitely improves the hobby.
I could name many and more who have made this place great for me. But let me just generalize and say that everybody on here that I've interacted with has made this a better place to be. More importantly, this board got me to realize that even if people ridiculed me for my collection, I wasn't the only one out there. I'm now an officially outed toy collector because of you guys. So thanks.

I want to add whomever is responsible for the Alanmasking of yesterday. Whether it was actually Alanmask, or somebody pulling off the stunt of the LRG decade, I wanted to say thanks for the fond memories and the laughs. That was awesome, whomever is responsible.

I just hope to see some of those movies make it. Would be a great thing to watch with Killer Clowns from Outer Space.

We need to revive this section, peeps!
I've got a shout out for MCA19. He's a relatively quiet member here, but he is one of the best people I've met on the board.
Recently, the guy stuck his neck out ridiculously far for me, and ended up scoring me about 90% of my needs list for Battle Beasts. To boot, he did it for me at cost, and he has always sold me figures and accessories at beyond reasonable prices. All while never profiting off of me once. (Even when I was a dumb noob).
And why did he do it? All for the satisfaction of helping another collector out.

I just had a custom job done from PlasticPlayhouse, to take a look at his awesome Cyborg Don (TMNT) check out the link below:
http://www.littlerub...=10#entry574489
Holy CRAP! That looks FANTASTIC!! (And still looks playable...)
What an awesome job. Thank you so much Rick - I know that Aiden will get a kick out of it.
For those of you curious, my cousin's stepson fell out of tree house a little over a month ago and cracked his skull so that he ended up having a titanium plate in his head. Well he's a huge TMNT fan and I suggested to the parents that we get him a cyborg Donatello figure (ala the image comics run) and that way he would be less self conscious about the plate. Donatello was also his favorite turtle too which helped...
We were googling images of a cyborg Don and realized that one was never actually made/released BUT we found an image of one of Rick's custom jobs of that exact design. Well I reached out to Rick, he gave us a great price really helped out... And on top of that he made the design tie in with the current cartoon (which works better because Aiden is only 7 or 8 I think so he wasn't familiar with the earlier TMNT stuff.
Thank you so much... I can't wait to hear what Aiden thinks!!

I received a package yesterday, a complete surprise, with postcards and FOA figures... And I just wanted to thank Trent, Luke, Coffee Eric, Toy Eric, Adam and Ada, Frank K., John and Jon, Zectron's goofy ass, and King Jefferson for not only pulling off the surprise, but for all of the the thought and thoughtfulness that went into the endeavor.
I appreciate all of the kind words, the stuff... But mainly the thoughtfulness. 2014 has been the suxxorz, and having such a great group of guys band together to say "Hey, we're here for you" was about the best thing I couldn't have ever have asked for.
You guys are the best.
Except for Luke. Luke is still a boob.

This was just the only way.... you're an insanely difficult person to do something nice for. In fact, once someone figures out something nice to do for you......... you do it yourself and spoil it for them
When the opportunity came up, at least for me, it felt like it might be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity so I better jump at it. You are one of the most real, and straightforward people I've run across in a while, one of the reasons this place is so great. You might be misunderstood at times, and I might not always agree with you 100%... but all in all you're a great guy and I'm fortunate enough to call you friend.
How 'bout a hug....

I want to thank theGardener for being a cool dude. I found a box of gogos at a thrift store and put them in the what's it worth forum. Saw he was looking for some in need toys the very next day and showed him what i found. He made a fair offer and i accepted.
That night Steve dissected my lot and pointed out that a couple were worth more then a few bucks and one was rare enough to fetch a decent price. Before i even saw that post theGardener sent me a message telling me about it and he said i could keep the rare valuable one and he would still take the rest for what he had already paid me.
That is a stand up move and from someone i didn't know at all. I was impressed. I sent him all of them including the rarest one because that's what i though was fair but being given the option to keep it was really nice.
Thanks man!

Big ups to Plasticfiend, for looking out for another MUSCLE collector. This is taken from a write up done by Veers over on University of MUSCLE. Veers asked me to share it here:
It is very easy to complain about the state of collecting M.U.S.C.L.E. figures. The negative things are overt and easy to see. The positive things sometimes slip through the cracks.
This story isn’t slipping through the cracks.
Auction Watch #168 featured a French-Canadian box that I wanted to document and share with collectors. I didn’t want the ring. My boys disagreed. They wanted it, and I shared the brief story inthis Epilogue.
Then in the October 18th Epilogue, I mentioned I was going to bid on a broken ring and asked if anyone was interested in the figures. I didn’t think anyone would really notice or care. I was wrong.
I noticed I was outbid, but then I received a message from LRG member plasticfiend (Seth). He felt bad for outbidding me. I told him not to worry about; that’s how eBay works. Without provocation he asked if I would like the ring for my boys to finish our repairs.
Fast forward a bit, and we win the auction. The ring and figures were sent to me and I forwarded the figures on to Seth. My boys were super excited when they saw the ring. We will be making the repairs and playing with the ring this weekend.
Thank you a million times to Seth. Not only were you kind to me and my boys, but this shows there are still kind, friendly, and helpful collectors out there in the community.
I hope I speak for all M.U.S.C.L.E. collectors in saying:
Thank you for restoring some of my faith in the M.U.S.C.L.E. community!

I rarely post I his section, because I always kinda forget about it.
But I wanted to do a BIG shout out and thank you to two of our members.
First off, I helped HARIGORASU complete his last MUSCLE figure in his flesh set. And in return, he sent me entire BOX FULL of various LRG goodies. I should have taken a picture of everything together, but I quickly tore apart the box and I don't have the complete set together for a pic. BUT I do have a pic of what is IMO the coolest part of the box. 3 VINTAGE General Mills glow n the dark pencil toppers from the 1970's. !!! I LOVE the General Mills Monsters, so this was an extra special treat for me!

The second shout out goes to SIXTHWIZARD, who I did a tiny favor for and he rewarded me with a sealed can of color MUSCLES!! Wow!

I just wanted to take a moment and show my gratitude to these guys. Thank you!! You guys are such fine examples of the types of members that make LRG such a cool place to be a part of. With or without the gifts, I always enjoy chatting with you two and you truly are valued members of this community.
Thanks again,
PF
