Battle beast identification

Hi all, I’ve had these toys since the 80’s and know they are battle beasts but am unsure why they are a single colour? Can anyone shine some light on this?

Are they hard rubber like normal beasts? If so, they are likely Greek beasts.

Yes based on the provided pictures I´d say these are Greek Battle Beasts aka Tepato Maxoi.
