Showcase #25: Bootleg/Pachi Kin Eraser Set

 

 

I am not sure if this even belongs in the Kinnikuman forum/topic so I apologize and please move it to a correct topic/forum if it does not. I saw these Keshi from time to time in auctions and I acquired some from mixed lots.

 

I stored them and I didn't look them up or did research on them until now.

 

It's a fun set and am not sure how many figures are in the set but based on the Daishi it could be 14 figures total (although "The Million Boobs Man" might not even exist according to Eric Nilla and other fellow LRG members).

 

They come in assorted colors (at least six: Flesh, Red, Blue, Yellow, Purple and Orange).

 

My favorite is the Cactus Man and Mickey Mouse Keshi; I own 21 Keshi total.

The Japanese site I use to look up Kinnikuman Kinkeshi checklists has them listed as well (so am not sure if they belong in the Kinnikuman family despite being Bootleg but they kinda do belong in my opinion)

The figures have their names on the back and that is the only distinguishable marking on the back of the Keshi; these are some of the names (using google translate):

I am only missing 4 from this set, The gumball, the remote, the dynamite chest dude and the guy who is all boobs. Eric Nilla who tends to know these things pretty well said that the boobs guy may not even exist, and I cannot see him in the bag of dudes you posted. This is probably my favorite bootleg set out there and I love me so bootlegs!

I have a seen a version of the boob man but in reverse (if that makes any sense); meaning he has the boobs at the top as a head. It was on yahoojapan but selling for an insane price. But I think he is actually from Kinnikuman but I never saw an official release. I have also seen the two headed one; I wonder if the boob man I saw belongs to the set. That's awesome that you only need 4 more to have a full set! I love bootlegs that are actually different characters instead of bootlegs of actual characters.

I believe boob dude is in the packages. second package, just under the red guy with the two cylinders on the back.

The boob guy has never been seen, so I doubt he actually exists. I saw a custom one made but was a one-off, and I've sculpted my own but have never molded it

Also there are a few from the set that aren't on the checklist like the guy with the rocket for a head

What you saw was most likely a figure of Puripuriman/ Monsieur Cheeks

the picture is sadly too low of resolution to check for boobdude, so It could be cheeks.

Puripuriman/ Monsieur Cheeks! That was the dude! I remembered him specifically from the Nisei series (Ultimate Muscle) but had forgotten about him. I have seen the Pachi with the rocket head and the two headed Pachi that resembles Terryman often on yahoojapan; the rubber for this particular Pachi set is better than most bootlegs.

 

Is the one with the Cube Head and Kanji also from this line?

No, the cube head guy is its own line, there are many in the set with different kanji on the cubes.

I received some more Pachi Keshi from this line and I almost have a complete set (assuming the number is 14 for the set).

"Momentum" is an interesting translation. That Kataka is Gacha Gacha Man.

Based on the fact that he's a Gachapon machine, seems better than Momentum.
